Our Gaia Retreat

Barry and I recently had a wonderful weeks holiday retreat at Gaia Resort, 20 minutes up in the hinterland above Byron Bay in NSW – wonderful , lush, green and picturesque part of Australia.

Gaia embodies all that we seek to include in our own lives and we thoroughly recommend it for all who are looking for a healthful balanced life. With the wonderful organic food cooked by expert chefs, we felt energised, alive and eager to enjoy the many activities they offered.

Yoga in the wonderful studio facing the rising sun, or gym in another wonderful setting facing the rolling hills, numerous walks across the 25 acres of blissful countryside, complimentary naturopath consultation, massages and body polishes, walking tours around the property, tennis, swimming, pottery, and many other activities made sure we were kept as active as we so chose.

Otherwise we could simply sit and sip wonderful herbal teas with homemade gluten free delightful muffins on the sun filled verandas enjoying the ambiance or curl up on a couch or sunbed around the hillsides and read a book from the array of shelved books, or catch a movie from one of the many DVD’s on offer. Will we go again? You bet! Cannot think of a better place to be pampered and spoilt away from it all for a brief respite. Check it out www.gaiaretreat.com.au

Thank you Olivia, Gregg, Leanne and all your wonderful, helpful team.

Barry just got a routine blood test done for PSA levels – wow  0.21 !! (safe range 0.00 – 4.5). Considering his PSA level of 114 when first diagnosed November 2010, his Doctor cannot believe it. We can! He is going great guns – must be doing something right!
Everything we experienced at Gaia is exactly what we have set into practice.
